Book Players, Bar code Scanners, and More for low prices!
Hello, everyone. I have a few tech items for sale that I really want to get rid of. 1. PlexTalk Pocket: Barely used; in great condition; comes with carrying
case, 2 GB SD card, adapter to plug in external media such as flash drives, the unit itself, documentation on CD; no USB cored. This device plays all types
of different file formats; you can also record in daisy format as well for lectures. Great for college. There is nothing physically wrong with the unit;
it is just not needed/wanted anymore. Asking $200.00. Plus shipping costs, which can be calculated depending on what delivery method you choose. 2. ID
Mate Omni: This is the first IDMate that came out; includes unit, carrying case, extra labels to affix to different items, power adapter. This is in great
shape as well, but it may need a database update; do not know much regarding these units and how upgrading databases work. Should be able to obtain updates
from the company. Also included is a 512 MB flash card to store database. Asking $170.00 plus shipping, or best offer will be considered as well. 3. Two
VR Streams: Both of these Victor Reader streams are in used condition, one being in excellent condition, and the other one being in fair to poor. The first
is in great condition, comes with an SD card, a perfect case with no tears, USB cable, plus power adapter. documentation is included on the unit. Asking
$150.00 plus shipping for this item. This is the first generation, will come pre-configured with most updated software. The other is also a Victor Reader
Stream; this is the one that is in fair to poor condition. This unit has been dropped, resulting in split-open headphone and microphone jacks; they both
still work, however. Includes power adapter only, will need SD card. Also, only runs off of AC power; Humanware told me it would be the cost of a new unit
to get it fixed, but it might just need a replacement battery. Because of its condition, I'm only asking $40.00 Sony Surround Sound Receiver: $125.00 plus
shipping: This is a surround sound receiver, capable of supporting 7.1 channel; each channel has a max output of 105 watts for a total of 725 Watts; HDMI
inputs and outputs. Receiver may have been struck by lightning, though not directly. Can be repaired if you know what your doing. Receiver is responsive
however, and does turn on and can be used. When you are inactive, or not pressing a button on say an Apple TV remote, you will hear a fade-in effect on
the audio, but it only lasts a second. This is why I am selling it at a reduced price. Includes receiver, remote, FM/AM antennas. Originally over $200.00
Finally, I have an Index Basic-D ver. 2 Braille printer; this unit is in excellent condition, has a printing speed of 40 CPS, and includes a Braille and
or Large-print panel for easy access controls. Printer does not speak in English for some reason, though later models, such as the V3 ones do. It weighs
about 18 pounds and requires tractor-fed paper. Includes both a serial and parallel connection. Can work with Duxbury up to Windows 7; not sure if Duxbury
is available for Win 8 yet. Asking $500.00 plus shipping, can include some paper to get you started as well. This machine originally sold for about $3,000.00
It's in great shape, but I have a newer version. Sorry for the lengthy list. If interested in any of these items, please feel free to contact me. May find
more as I clean out things.
